Luke and Twin update!

Here I am with the twins. This was a week and a half ago. I'll take some right before I go to the hospital.

Luke's 1st time coloring. SO adorable. We made our office area into an office/playroom. He loves it!

Yes, Luke is still my little baby. He loved being in his old swing. This should be fun and interesting when the babies come. Hopefully he will choose a swing to sit in that the babies aren't in! Yikes!

Here is Luke kissing the babies. He is VERY protective of them and doesn't like anyone to touch them. He loves to love on them and kiss them and occasionally HIT them. Again, can't wait until they are out in the world. They will be 2 tough cookies!

Ok, so i'm 37 weeks and yes, past ready to deliver and meet these babies. But i'm hanging in there and actually have hardly swollen. I go to the doctor on Wednesday (my last appointment). They will do an ultrasound and monitor and check me for dilation. I will have my c-section on Tuesday, July 20th at 11:30am. I will have my sister update the blog as quickly as possibly with pictures. I am not nervous, i'm READY! Luke has been SOOO sick and I have been very worried about him. He ran a fever for a full 7 days. We have him on a 2nd, stronger antibiotic which seems to be working and he is much, much better, Praise God. He had an ear infection and his tonsils and throat were swollen and red. Pray that he will continue to heal. He has 9 days:o).

Ok, so I'm putting a picture of me on here. This was taken a week and a half ago. I will try and take one just before I deliver.

TWIN UPDATE

I am 35 weeks! I went to the doctor on Monday. I had an ultrasound. They are estimated at 5 lbs, 12 oz, and 5 lbs, 13 oz. I am not dilated and no contractions. I have less than 3 weeks to go! Sorry I don't have pictures of Luke to upload, I will do that soon. The doctor thinks I will definitely make it to 38 weeks, so the countdown is on. Thanks for praying!

TWIN UPDATE

I am now 33 weeks!  I went to the doctor Monday and was put on the monitors.  Babies are doing great and I am having NO contractions.  The doctor is very pleased with where I am, and I do not have to do bed rest yet!  I do have a mild case of bronchitis so I'm on an antibiotic to try and get that cleared up.  I'm sick of this deep chest cough!  And I'm not going to lie, I'm getting miserable b/c I"m so big and I can't sleep and my back hurts.  BUT, all in all, I think I"m doing well and at the most I have a little less than 5 weeks...I CAN DO THIS!  I cannot wait to hold these twins in my arms!  We are ready!  And we are praising God for such a great, healthy pregnancy so far!  Thanks for continuing to pray!

TWIN UPDATE:  Went to the doctor today...twins are doing great...no bedrest and I go back in a week for an ultrasound.  I'll keep you up to date!  We are praising God.

Ok, so here is an update on the twins.  I am currently 29 weeks.  I went for my 28 week ultrasound last week.  Twins were doing great!  They are estimated at both weighing 2 pounds, 10 ounces.  I am thrilled about that.  The doctor will let me go to 38 weeks.  We will see if I make it that far.  So far, I have had no swelling and my blood pressure is great.  I go next week and the doc will check my cervix to see if I've dialated.  So far, I have escaped bed rest.  He said he would re-evaluate each time I go back.  Also, my placenta has moved and I no longer have placenta previa.  Praise God!  That is what we prayed for.  I was going to scan in ultrasound pictures but they are terrible.  They just look like a blur.  She said they are so packed in there it is hard to get a good picture of them.  Everyone that sees me says, oh wow, you look like you are about to deliver!  I'm holding out to post a picture until the end when it will be just hilarious to see how incredibly big I am!

Here are some pictures and video of Luke and Mikayla.  She came and stayed with me for a week and helped me SOOO much.  It was great to have her and I want her to come back:o)  Enjoy!
